ThinkPads are Lenovo's business laptops, known for their keyboards, TrackPoint and spill-resistant designs. Most have replaceable SSDs and batteries, and parts stay available for years. Intel versions use upgradeable LPCAMM2 memory; the keyboard and USB-C ports are user-replaceable.
Common ThinkPad repairs
- Keyboard replacement
- Screen
- Battery
- Charging
- SSD and data migration
Screen replacement
Cracked glass, lines across the picture or a black screen with sound still working: we replace the display panel on the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and test it fully before handing it back. If the fault is the display cable or backlight, we fix that instead of fitting a whole new screen.
Overheating and fan noise
A Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 that runs hot, throttles or shuts down under load usually needs a deep clean, new thermal paste and, sometimes, a replacement fan. It's a quick job that restores performance and protects the motherboard.
Charging and USB-C ports
If the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 only charges at a certain angle, or not at all, the charging port or the power circuit behind it is usually the cause. We replace worn ports and test the charging circuit so the problem doesn't come back.
