The MacBook Pro packs Apple's Pro and Max chips into an aluminium unibody with a mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR screen on 14- and 16-inch models. Storage is soldered to the logic board, which makes careful board-level work essential when one won't power on.

Liquid spills
Turn the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M2 Pro off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on.
