The MacBook Pro packs Apple's Pro and Max chips into an aluminium unibody with a mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR screen on 14- and 16-inch models. Storage is soldered to the logic board, which makes careful board-level work essential when one won't power on. Launched in October 2025 in the same chassis as the M4 model, with memory and SSD soldered to the board.

Hinges and casing
