Common Predator repairs
- Overheating
- Screen
- GPU faults
- Charging
Battery swelling and battery life
Lithium batteries wear out and can swell, lifting the touchpad or bending the base. If your Acer Predator Helios 16 AI (PH16-73) has a bulging case or a touchpad that won't click, stop using it on charge and bring it in: we replace the battery and check nothing else was damaged.
Windows, BitLocker and software
Boot loops, blue screens and failed updates aren't always hardware faults. We repair or reinstall Windows on the Acer Predator Helios 16 AI (PH16-73), keep your files safe, and help with BitLocker recovery keys so encrypted drives stay accessible.
Keyboard and touchpad
Sticky, dead or repeating keys and an unresponsive touchpad are common after spills or heavy use. On the Acer Predator Helios 16 AI (PH16-73) we replace the keyboard or touchpad, and check the ribbon cables at the same time.
