Battery swelling and battery life
Lithium batteries wear out and can swell, lifting the touchpad or bending the base. If your Microsoft Surface Pro 9 has a bulging case or a touchpad that won't click, stop using it on charge and bring it in: we replace the battery and check nothing else was damaged.
Liquid spills
Turn the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on. The sooner we can open it, clean the board and replace corroded parts, the better the chance of saving it. Liquid-damage repairs are outside our warranty, but any new parts we fit are covered for 90 days.
