Common ThinkPad repairs
- Keyboard replacement
- Screen
- Battery
- Charging
- SSD and data migration
Liquid spills
Turn the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 14 Gen 1 Aura Edition off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on. The sooner we can open it, clean the board and replace corroded parts, the better the chance of saving it. Liquid-damage repairs are outside our warranty, but any new parts we fit are covered for 90 days.
Charging and USB-C ports
If the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 14 Gen 1 Aura Edition only charges at a certain angle, or not at all, the charging port or the power circuit behind it is usually the cause. We replace worn ports and test the charging circuit so the problem doesn't come back.
Screen replacement
Cracked glass, lines across the picture or a black screen with sound still working: we replace the display panel on the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 14 Gen 1 Aura Edition and test it fully before handing it back. If the fault is the display cable or backlight, we fix that instead of fitting a whole new screen.
