Common ThinkPad repairs
- Keyboard replacement
- Screen
- Battery
- Charging
- SSD and data migration
Hinges and casing
A loose or cracked hinge puts strain on the screen cable and casing. We repair hinge mounts and replace damaged hinges on the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 before the damage spreads to the display.
Liquid spills
Turn the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on. The sooner we can open it, clean the board and replace corroded parts, the better the chance of saving it. Liquid-damage repairs are outside our warranty, but any new parts we fit are covered for 90 days.
Battery swelling and battery life
Lithium batteries wear out and can swell, lifting the touchpad or bending the base. If your Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 has a bulging case or a touchpad that won't click, stop using it on charge and bring it in: we replace the battery and check nothing else was damaged.
