Hinges and casing
A loose or cracked hinge puts strain on the screen cable and casing. We repair hinge mounts and replace damaged hinges on the HP Omen Max 16 before the damage spreads to the display.
Liquid spills
Turn the HP Omen Max 16 off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on. The sooner we can open it, clean the board and replace corroded parts, the better the chance of saving it. Liquid-damage repairs are outside our warranty, but any new parts we fit are covered for 90 days.
Overheating and fan noise
A HP Omen Max 16 that runs hot, throttles or shuts down under load usually needs a deep clean, new thermal paste and, sometimes, a replacement fan. It's a quick job that restores performance and protects the motherboard.
