Dell's XPS is a premium aluminium and carbon-fibre ultrabook with near-borderless InfinityEdge screens. Many recent XPS models use soldered RAM and OLED or touch displays, so screen and board repairs need care. RAM is on the processor package and can't be upgraded; it keeps the capacitive function row and invisible haptic touchpad.
Common XPS repairs
- Display and touchscreen replacement
- Battery swelling lifting the touchpad
- USB-C charging faults
- Keyboard and palm-rest replacement
- Board-level repair
Overheating and fan noise
A Dell XPS 13 9350 that runs hot, throttles or shuts down under load usually needs a deep clean, new thermal paste and, sometimes, a replacement fan. It's a quick job that restores performance and protects the motherboard.
Charging and USB-C ports
If the Dell XPS 13 9350 only charges at a certain angle, or not at all, the charging port or the power circuit behind it is usually the cause. We replace worn ports and test the charging circuit so the problem doesn't come back.
Liquid spills
Turn the Dell XPS 13 9350 off straight away, unplug it and don't try to turn it back on. The sooner we can open it, clean the board and replace corroded parts, the better the chance of saving it. Liquid-damage repairs are outside our warranty, but any new parts we fit are covered for 90 days.
