Common Nitro repairs
- Overheating
- Screen
- Charging port
- Upgrades
Charging and USB-C ports
If the Acer Nitro 16 only charges at a certain angle, or not at all, the charging port or the power circuit behind it is usually the cause. We replace worn ports and test the charging circuit so the problem doesn't come back.
Battery swelling and battery life
Lithium batteries wear out and can swell, lifting the touchpad or bending the base. If your Acer Nitro 16 has a bulging case or a touchpad that won't click, stop using it on charge and bring it in: we replace the battery and check nothing else was damaged.
Hinges and casing
A loose or cracked hinge puts strain on the screen cable and casing. We repair hinge mounts and replace damaged hinges on the Acer Nitro 16 before the damage spreads to the display.
